ESL Pro League Season 19 Reveals Its First Eight Playoff Teams

On the evening of April 28, the final matches of Groups A and B were played as part of the ESL Pro League Season 19, determining the first eight playoff participants of the tournament.

In ESL Pro League Season 19, 32 teams are divided into four triple-elimination groups, with all matches being played in a best-of-3 format. Group winners advance to the playoff quarterfinals, while the second-placed teams start from the second playoff round. Teams placing 3rd and 4th enter the first round of the playoffs. Remaining teams exit the tournament.

Astralis claimed the top position in Group A, followed by 3DMAX, with FaZe Clan and Virtus.pro securing the 3rd and 4th spots respectively.

Team Vitality emerged as the best team in Group B, with The Mongolz finishing second, and BB Team and G2 Esports taking the 3rd and 4th places.

The matches for Groups C and D will take place from April 30 to May 4, and the single-elimination playoffs will run from May 7 to May 12. All playoff matches will be best-of-3, with the grand final being a best-of-5.

The total prize pool for ESL Pro League Season 19 is $750,000, with the tournament winner also receiving an invitation to IEM Cologne 2024.
