SAW and Team Spirit Qualify for BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024

On the evening of March 10th, the final matches of the BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2024 were played. The tournament offered not only a cash prize pool but also 2 slots for the BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024.

The tournament was conducted in a single-elimination format. The fate of the two slots for the Spring Final 2024 was decided in the matches between SAW vs OG and Team Spirit vs Metizport.

In the first match, SAW proved to be stronger on OG's pick (Ancient 13:8), and then the Portuguese lineup won a hard-fought battle in overtime on Overpass (16:12). It's worth noting that OG played with a stand-in: due to health issues, s0und played instead of HeavyGod.

In the second match, Metizport debuted with a victory on their pick, Vertigo (13:8), but Team Spirit first evened the score on Mirage (13:4), and then won the decisive Nuke (13:8).

The BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024 will take place in London from June 12th to 16th. SAW and Team Spirit have joined the top 6 clubs from the BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2024, and the 8 tournament participants will compete for a total prize pool of $425,000 and a slot at the BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 for the best team.
