Gaimin Gladiators are the champions of DreamLeague Season 19

On the evening of April 23rd, the DreamLeague Season 19 ended. The tournament was won by Gaimin Gladiators.

Gaimin Gladiators went on to face Team Liquid. Both teams took the first place in Group A and B, after which Team Liquid took the first place and Gaimin Gladiators took the second place in the Group Stage #2. Both teams had identical statistics of 6-1.

A major gameplay patch 7.33 was released in Dota 2 before the playoffs began. In the Upper Bracket final, Team Liquid defeated Gaimin Gladiators 2-0 to advance to the Grand Final, while the Gladiators fell to the Lower Bracket. Shopify Rebellion was unable to put up a fight. The Gladiators won 2-0 and advanced to the Grand Final via the lower bracket.

The best-of-5 finals began with Gaimin Gladiators winning the first map, after which the teams exchanged back-to-back wins. As a result, the series was tied at a critical 2-2, and it was the Gladiators who came out stronger in the final 5th map.

The Gladiators not only earned $300,000 in prize money for winning the tournament, but also received an invitation to the Riyadh Masters.
