Liquid Eliminated from Stockholm Major by FaZe

Team Liquid have been eliminated from PGL Major Stockholm 2021 after losing their third match within the The New Legends stage. Today they faced FaZe Clan and lost 0-2 to them – 8:16 at Inferno and 19:22 at Mirage. Thus, the team placed 12th – 14th at the major and received $17,500 in prize money.

Thanks to their second place in the North American Regional Major Ranking, Team Liquid started competing at the Stockholm Major in its second stage. There they lost to Entropiq and defeated ENCE, while later were outplayed by FURIA and FaZe.

FaZe Clan now have a 2-2 score – earlier they defeated EG but lost to Vitality and Copenhagen Flames. Tomorrow they will compete in the stage’s fifth round to have their final change to qualify for the New Champions Stage.

Today the event will feature another two elimination matches – there Astralis will face Vitality (1:45 PM UK time), while Virtus.pro will play with MOUZ (5:30 PM).
