VALVE Remove Mentions of the Eastern European DPC
While the second tour of DPC begins next week, the official Dota Pro Circuit page no longer has a section for the Eastern European region. Moreover, VALVE have removed the region’s line-up from the game’s client.
The region’s competition was supposed to be held alongside the other regions, from March 14th to April 24th. However last week VALVE decided to indefinitely postpone the competition due to the Russian invasion into Ukraine. Traditionally the regional league is organized by a Russian company Epic Esports Events, which recently also suspended their own event D2CL.
The first division’s line-up included Spirit, PuckChamp, Virtus.pro, HellRaisers, Natus Vincere, Mind Games, CIS Rejects and Winstrike. The second division was supposed to feature AS Monaco Gambit, Empire, HYDRA, V-Gaming, Gambit Esports, and Nemiga.
